Insight into an Astronomer and Educators world

Welcome new readers to my blogging! I decided I wanted to keep track of some of the great stories that come from my research team and collaborations and just updating the website wasn’t cutting it. So you will get regular posts from me on this site which keep you updated on all things science, outreach, and visualization. Here is a slightly more specific categorized list of some of the things you will find on this blog: (1) Outreach adventures from being a scientist and educator at the American Museum of Natural History (2) Scientific adventures from just being an Astronomer (3) Highlights from my research group entitled BDNYC or Brown Dwarfs in New York City (4) Visualizations I’ve rendered from my work using cutting edge planetarium software (5) New results from or opportunities to participate in the citizen science project Backyard Worlds: Planet 9 which I co-founded several years ago. Who knows what else will come up as every week brings new challenges, insights, and stories. I’ll try and give you short concise summaries with useful visuals for whatever story I bring you here. Enjoy!
